The Taste

I Have been watching the taste on ABC (Tuesdays at 8/7 central) and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Now The reason I took an interest in this show was because I have a Culinary degree. I thought gee, I wonder how this could go.....How would you put a whole meal into one bite.
So the idea is that they got 4 Chefs, Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre, and Brian Malarkey. Each chef has a team and works with said team each week. They are given a specific challenge and they have to create that in one spoonful (as well as a show plate, so that you can see what they were going for.) Then the chefs Blind taste each spoon. They choose there favorite and there least favorite. Then they get to see who they chose. After that. Between the unfavored the judges choose who to send home.
I Have been rather entertained by this show. Its fun to see what each cook creates. Its also fun to see how the judges react. I Tend to get irritated by certain cooks who are just a bit too cocky for me. Also the dialogue between Ludo and Brian is funny.
I so far have not missed a  show and plan to continue watching it. I think this cooking show is different enough from all the other cooking shows on tv to make it worth a watch. :)
