I'm gonna show you step by step how to Glitter a candle glass that you have used up. They are great for storing stuff, holding brushes/pins, hanging earrings off of, ect.
WHAT YOU NEED: Modge podge, Brush, Glass of some sort (I used a bath and body works candle), Plastic cup, Paper, whatever color glitters you want (I mixed red, and white)
1. If you are using an old candle jar, stick the jar in the freezer and the wax will pop right out. Then wash it well, and scrub off the stickers.
2. I pour my modge podge into the plastic cup, this way i don't get glitter into my container of modge podge.
3. Brush a thin layer of modge podge in the glass container, I do it on the bottom and the sides but you could just do it on the sides if you want.
4. I used two glitters, so I poured a little of each on to my paper and mixed them with my finger.
5. Tilt the paper into the glass and let the glitter fall in. Tilt the Glass on its side over the paper and roll it back and forth to get the glitter distributed all over.
6. Let this layer completely dry. (about 4-5 hours).
7. Then go back and paint another layer of modge podge in. Add glitter and distribute it all around.
Let completely dry and.....
A very pretty decoration. They make great Christmas present.
