NYC new york Color

In my Beauty Blogger voxbox I got the nyc New york color Individualeyes in dark shadows. (I just watched the new Johnny depp version of this movie haha). This is a set that is supposed to have you set up with a complete eye look. It comes with 4 shadows (White, silver, grey and black In my case), A primer and a highlighter.
First the good things. It is really nice to have everything you need in one place. You could just throw it in your bag and if you ended up staying somewhere you could be prepared. The colors are nicely pigmented. I enjoy the highlighter, But i also really like using it all over my eye and then putting the shadows on top of that. :)
Now the negatives :( sorry. The shadows are powdery so you have to be careful because there will be fallout. The primer I am not a fan of. i do better with lasting power to just put the shadows on by themselves. The Black shadow is not as dark as I would like. I Find that it comes off very grey instead of that black i wanted. Lastly, there is no matte colors in this. The white, silver and grey are metallic, and the black has some glitter in it.
Overall I like this set and I do reach for it. It has made me a believer in NYC new york color, which I had given up on. Glad to try more from them.

in the pictures above the highlighter and primer are on theleft. The dark grey shadow is on top and the black is on the bottom.
