Modern french mani

I really like the reverse (Modern) french Mani. Here is my take on it using  black and gold.
What you need:
-2 nail polish colors of your choice (the reverse Mani means using the lighter color on your tips...)
-Tape
-Base/top coat
-Nail polish remover

1. use your base coat.
2. Use 2 coats of your base color (In my case black).

3. let fully dry( i let mine dry for 2 hours.) In this case you could use an old Mani and just amp it up by doing the tips.
4. Wrap a piece of tape around your nail leaving just the tip visible. Press down really good so the polish wont bleed.

5. Use your second color (gold) and paint 2 coats.
6. let dry at least 5 Min's before removing the tape.
7. Paint on your top coat.
