Book Report

This weekend I started a book. I finished it in little over a day. I figured this is a good reason to write about. I Must have loved it right? :)
The name of the book is embrace and is a fantasy. I also learned it is part of a trilogy.
This book is about a girl named violet. the book starts out the day before her 17th birthday. She has had some sad things happen to her in her life. Her mom died when she had her. Because of this she does not like her birthday. She doesn't talk to her dad much. And her 2 friends Steph and Lincoln are the only people in her life. She finds out she more then just a 17 year old girl. She has been given the essence of an angle. She has to decide whether or not to "Embrace" This or to forever be just human. Oh wait there's a catch. She is more powerful then any of the others have ever seen. Which means she will always be found.
Phoenix an angel exile (By choice) proves this to us. He is instantly attracted to her, when he sees her at her birthday party. He tells her she "radiates" beauty. We later learn that he is hinting at her angel essence.
This book Was fantastic! I stoped where I did because i don't want to give too much away. I really really enjoyed this book and cant wait to read the next one. (I do believe its called essence.) I don't read often for the fact that I'm dyslexic. so it really takes something good to pull me in and keep me.
I also enjoyed the little bits about Lilith who i really hadn't heard much about in other books except true blood!
